Meet Dr. Vanessa Vélez Martínez

Dr. Vanessa Vélez Martínez has spent more than twenty years caring for patients, and in that time she has built a practice that refuses to separate medical care from aesthetic care. She sees them as the same work. A patient who comes in about a line on her forehead may also need her thyroid checked, and the physician who notices both is the one worth staying with. That belief is why June Medical offers primary care, hormone therapy, weight management, and aesthetic treatment in one place, all overseen by the same doctor.

She earned her degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico and completed medical school at the Universidad de Monterrey. Since then she has held herself to a standard of continuous education, adding new techniques only after the clinical evidence supports them. She holds a diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, where she remains an active member, and she is certified in obesity management through the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. Alongside her San Juan practice, she is licensed in Michigan and Colorado.
